A Little About Me

I learnt the basics of web development whilst I studied Computer Science BSc at Brunel university. During this period, I spent a year in the industry where my web development skills became a lot more practical as I worked on projects such as TMG Olympics and The Independent. As a graduate, I became a front-end developer for Hugo and Cat where I've lead projects ranging from campaign pages to the company website.

As a developer, I aim to better myself by discovering new technologies that can take my portfolio to the next level. I also have an eye for design as I believe this goes hand in hand with development. My portfolio also covers e-flyers, print design and UX. I am very experienced using HTML/5, CSS/3, JavaScript including many frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, Knockout and Node.

In my spare time, I love to take on freelance work, read empowering literature, play football, dabble in a bit of chess and relax with some playstation.

Projects Completed

Hugo and Cat

Hugo & Cat

I was appointed as the lead developer for the company website. Within this project, I worked alongside the designer where we developed a variation of complex modules that gave users a great experience. The site was built by creating a front-end cms which compiled modules (referencing JSON files) to create static pages. This improved my skill set especially when presenting dynamic content.

Improved skills: Project scoping, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and NodeJS.
